I’m Louise, the maker behind Aurina. Every piece you see here is handmade by me in Knysna using recycled CDs. What once held music is gently transformed into jewellery and little artworks filled with colour, joy, and meaning. Each piece is created slowly and with care, designed to lift the heart and bring a little happiness wherever it goes. Each piece in my collection is created with care, intention, and respect for the materials used.

Many of my pieces begin as recycled CDs. Objects once filled with music are gently cut, shaped, and painted by hand, given a new life as jewellery and small artworks filled with colour and meaning. It is my way of creating beauty with care, and turning something forgotten into something joyful.
